Great teaching bro. One of my closest friends had to do separate from his father and sister because of their claim to follow Christ while being engaged in drunkenness and other behaviour unbecoming of a believer. It was VERY painful and difficult to say the least. But after some time (a couple of years actually) they both dedicated their lives to Christ, truly. They are both now totally different people because of Christ, partially due to the “tough love” that drove them back to Christ.
